An estate can produce a wine that is neither a Cru-Classé nor Cru-Bourgeois, and yet have the level of the best in their price segment. Indeed, certain terroirs are revealed late, and, accompanied by significant human and financial investments, they can reveal real wonders. In Bordeaux, there are many examples of areas that have been in this case in recent years, they just ask to be discovered and are often worth a detour.
